Hibiscus Tea — Dried Hibiscus sabdariffa Flowers

Hibiscus tea is a naturally caffeine-free herbal infusion made from dried Hibiscus sabdariffa flowers. It brews to a deep ruby colour with a bright, pleasantly tart flavour that can be enjoyed hot or cold.

Ingredients: Dried Hibiscus sabdariffa flowers.

How to prepare

1. Add approximately one teaspoon of dried hibiscus flowers per cup.
2. Pour over freshly boiled water.
3. Steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on the preferred strength.
4. Strain and enjoy as is, or add honey, citrus or another sweetener to taste.

For iced hibiscus tea, prepare a stronger infusion, allow it to cool and serve over ice.
