Blog Recipe:
Yields 1 Serving – Prep Time 15 minutes
- 2 cups water
- 1 ½ teaspoons blue lotus flower tea leaves
- 1 teaspoon raw, unpasteurized honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Pinch cinnamon
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan, turn off the heat and add the tea leaves. Steep for 15-20 minutes 15 Minutes, add honey and lemon juice. Stir and strain. Dust with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Nighty night!

I’ve recently been drinking blue lotus tea and well as alternating with the tincture. I find it works well for both myself and my 11 year old daughter. Especially during times of anxiety and very calming during the menstrual cycle of a grumpy pre-teen. There’s less eyeball rolling and a more of a calmer tween. The tincture also helps me during fibromyalgia flare-ups. As a yoga teacher, I am very connected spiritually and love using this before a practice or meditation. Also a great anxiety reliever. The best part is that it is completely natural and no nasty side effects or heavy metals entering the body.
