Additional information:
Imphepho (South African sage)
This is a traditional herb found only in South Africa.
It is used to cleanse and protect and open up dream space and ancestral communication. The Khoisan traditions use Imphepho as spiritual protection to keep out evil spirits and people with bad intentions and to communicate with the ancestors.

Uvuma omhlope
(Synaptolepis kirkii)
Known as uvuma omhlope, this is a shrub with striking porcelain white roots.
It is traditionally used by the Zulu and Xhosa people to induce spiritual visions, trances and dreams. The roots of the Uvuma omhlope shrub contain kirkinine. Kirkinine is a powerful neurotrophic. They help in making sure that nerve tissue survives by helping the repair and re-growth of the nerve cells. Synaptolepis kirkii has been and is still being used today by indiginous people to induce dreams.

Sceletium
Several solid studies prove that kanna (sceletium) is actually an Acetylcholine Esterase Inhibitor, the chemical class into which all lucid dreaming supplements fall. There are also a good number of anecdotal reports that suggest kanna may well have oneirogenic properties in that it produces or enhances dream-like states of consciousness.

Valerian Root
Although it is a Western herb, Valerian root has a long history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine. While western practitioners tend to prescribe Valerian root as a sleep aid, in China it is considered to be a spirit-quieting medicine which improves blood circulation. Valerian root contains Valerenic acid has been found to inhibit the breakdown of GABA in the brain, resulting in feelings of calmness and tranquility. The reason the Chinese were so ready to adopt Valerian into their medicinal system is because of the belief that Kuan Yin resides in this herb: Kuan (earth) Yin (the spiritual energy that ebbs and flows).
It is also used to alleviate insomnia. It is traditionally used as a heart-opening and heart-nourishing herb that is combined in tandem with other herbs to quieten the mind and focus attention on the heart centre.
The spiritual properties attributed to Valerian are gentle healing powers, reconciliation between loved ones, promoting feelings of love and devotion and easing pain and loneliness.

Blue Lotus flowers and the potentized essence of Blue Lotus
For centuries, Blue Lotus has been respected as an ancestral flower known to induce deep meditative energy, enhance third eye function and initiate lucid dreaming. It was used in ancient Egypt as part of a brew to induce prophetic and visionary dreams. Because it aids with memory and focus, Blue Lotus can also improve your ability to recall your dreams.
The effects of the Blue Lotus, or Blue Waterlily, can be euphoric, while helping to decompress the nervous system and relax the body and mind.

Potentized vibrational essence of Noya Rao
Noya Rao’s name translates to “Flying Tree”, “Tree of Light”, and “Path of Truth,” and its medicine has been used ceremonially in the Shipibo tradition for centuries. The leaves that fall from it are luminescent – they glow in the dark and Noya Rao is in traditional medicine the embodiment of all good, all light, all love; the divine feminine and the physical embodiment of being enlightened. In the Peruvian Shipibo tradition it is the pinnacle of master plants, and in folklore, its plant spirit is second only to God. It is believed that with the help of The tree of Light, one is able to have a clearer understanding of Truth.
