To prepare
Break the cacao disk into smaller pieces and add to a cup. Add hot but not boiling water and/or hot plant based milk as well as the remaining ingredients and stir vigorously. Alternatively add everything to a blender or shaker for a more foamy drink. Add honey or a natural sweetener of your choice. Bear in mind that adjusting to the bitterness which is part of this medicine is recommended. The bitter taste burns off toxins and allows us greater capacity for the bitter experiences in life so we may appreciate the sweetness that much more when it comes around.
